At the heart of Nigeria's only classical dance school is the Leap of Dance. It was created in 2017 in the courtyard of a house in Ojo, Lagos.

The students are aged between 10 and 21 and learn dance steps and throws. The floor is made of metal, designed to withstand the heat and rain. It is the first of its kind in the world, and is designed to last for a decade. The school is run by a group of students from Ojo and the University of Lagos, Nigeria.
