[HIGHLIGHTS] Before the marathon, these rookies test themselves on the Paris semi: “The distance doesn’t scare me too much”

Some 47,000 runners are expected this Sunday in the streets of the capital to run a little over 21 km. 44.5% of them are taking on the distance for the first time.

The majority have one goal: to follow up with a first marathon. This is the right year for that: there will be two this year in the capital. The “classic” Paris marathon, on April 7, and the new and spectacular Paris Marathon for All 2024, on August 10.
