Julia Simon and Lou Jeanmonnot placed second and third in the mass start in Oslo. Justine Braisaz-Bouchet, eleventh, was handicapped by her five penalty laps.
Simon increases her lead in the specialty ranking, since she is the best biathlete during the mass starts this season. She overtook Ingrid Tandrevold in the sprint, in the last loop, to secure a place on the podium. The Frenchwoman is now 104 points behind Ingrid tandrevolds in the general classification.
