French mixed relay wins gold medal at the world championships in Nove Mesto, Czech Republic. The team is made up of Éric Perrot, Justine Braisaz-Bouchet and Julia Simon.
This was the first event of these worlds, and will be followed by the women's relay on Friday. It is the first time the French team has won a gold medal in the biathlon at the World Championships. The event will be held in Oberhof, Germany, which won the gold medal last year.
