Brehme laid roses for Beckenbauer - just 32 days later he met the emperor in heaven. Brehme died almost exactly a month after the funeral service for Franz Becken bauer in the Allianz Arena.
The 1990 world champion apparently suffered a heart attack. At the memorial service, he was one of the eleven men who laid roses in the field. In heaven he now meets his former world champion trainer, the Emperor. “Dear Franz, you have been dead for twelve days now. I miss you very much! Rest in peace, a peace that you unfortunately haven't been able to enjoy in the form you deserve over the last few years," said Uli Hoeneß.
