France beat Taiwan 3-0 in the Davis Cup play-off match. Nicolas Mahut and Edouard Roger-Vasselin won in three sets against Yu Hsiou Hsu and Jason Jung (3-6, 6-2, 7-6), to qualify for the group stage of the competition.
The French team will play the final phase of the tournament in Malaga in November. The Blues have not reached the quarter-finals of this competition since 2018. In 2023, they did not make it out of the groups.
