Moroccan teenager sentenced to two years in prison for beating to death a young Berliner. The 17-year-old young man, who was 16 at the time of the events on May 28, spent nine months in pre-trial detention in a juvenile facility in Germany.
A fight between several players occurred on the football field, during a tournament in Frankfurt hosting youth teams from 16 different countries. The young Moroccan then played within the FC Metz Performance Program, a structure integrated into the French club.
