Cape Verde and Mauritania face each other this Monday (6 p.m.) in Abidjan, in the round of 16 of the African Cup of Nations. Cape Verde finished at the top of Group B, although it was tough, ahead of Egypt and Ghana.
Mauritania was the executioner of Algeria, from whom it stole third place in group D. The qualifier will face the winner of the match between Morocco and South Africa in the quarter-finals of CAN 2024.
