The portrait of the late basketball coach Ralph Klein was vandalized in Oberhausen, Germany. It is not yet known whether this was a hate crime, or an occasional act of vandalism.

The directors of the exhibition said: "We will continue to work to raise awareness on the subject. This difficult event will not deter us at all" The portrait was placed as part of an exhibition featuring 17 Jewish figures who starred in German sports, with the title "Between Success and Pursuit" The exhibition will continue until the end of the month.
