The auction for the TV rights for German professional football starts on Monday. The 36 clubs from the first and second Bundesliga will know how much money they can expect from the 2025/26 season.

Several scenarios are possible - including that only one provider acquires all rights. Amazon, Telekom, Apple and Disney are also brought into play once again. There are two rights packages for free-to-air television. All free TV channels can submit offers for this. The poker for TV rights begins on Monday and will last two weeks. Then it won't be long before fans and clubs have clarity. Excitement is definitely guaranteed.. The usual suspects are considered interested parties, especially the previous rights holders Sky and DAZN. As always, the DFL hopes for competition to increase revenue. Among other things, RTL is mentioned with its pay TV channel RTL+. Amazon, telekom and Apple are also bringing into play.
