The striker has not scored a goal in the 19 games of the championship so far this year, but his leadership role within the team is enormously important. In his home country, two championships are played in one year. The first round championship, the so-called Apertura, is usually held from the end of January to the beginning of June. The second half of the season, which is called Clausura, starts in July and ends in December.
