Fernando Gaviria won the first stage of the Tour Colombia on Sunday. The Antioquian from La Ceja is the first leader after winning the long Duitama straight.
He beat Mark Cavendish twice at the Tour of San Luis in 2010 and 2011. The 38-year-old is now looking forward to the rest of his career in Colombia. The Tour of Colombia is the third stage of a five-stage race around Colombia. It will finish in Bogota on Sunday night.
