Fernando Llorente has announced his retirement from football. The 38-year-old has been without a team for almost a year.
He was World Champion in South Africa 2010 and European Champion in 2012. The striker was born in Navarrette but raised in Rincarra. He has played for Sevilla, Swansea, Eibar, Athletic Bilbao, Sevilla and RCD Mallorca. He is also a member of the Spain national team.
