Karim Benzema has returned to training with Saudi club Al-Ittihad. The French striker was rumored to be leaving the club this winter.

Coach Marcelo Gallardo says Benzema's return depends on his physical state. The 36-year-old is under contract with the club until June 2026. He was criticized for a performance deemed insufficient on the field, in addition to a conflict with his coach Nuno Espirito Santo, who has since been sacked. The club travels to Al-Taï this Tuesday.
