Walid Regragui retains his position as Morocco coach despite CAN 2024 fiasco. The Atlas Lions were eliminated in the round of 16 of CAN 2024 by South Africa.
Despite the disappointment, Morocco made the choice to keep the coach who allowed it to reach the semi-finals of the last World Cup. With the next World Cup, in the United States, Canada and Mexico in 2026 in the sights, the leaders have therefore chosen stability. The Royal Moroccan Football Federation published a press release to announce the retention of Walid ReGragui as coach of the national team.
