Jérôme Rothen, Bruno Ecuele-Manga and Jérémy Doku have taken Panini to court. The former PSG player as well as other players, retired or still active, have decided to take the collectible card company to court because they feel wronged regarding their image rights.

The UNFP responded that an agreement was signed in 1997 with the company that manufactures the stickers and since then all players receive the same amount each year, between 200 and 300 euros. The case broke out in 2021 and was dismissed due to statute of limitations.
