Former Bayern scare: Portuguese coaching legend dies after a serious illness. Artur Jorge Braga de Melo, as his full name was, played 16 times for the national team and was the Portuguese coach in the 90s.
As a player he was active for FC Porto, Académica de Coimbra, SL Benfica and CF Belenenses. He was also the national coach of Switzerland, Cameroon and Portugal. In 2015 he ended his coaching career and retired.
