Ralf Schumacher believes his nephew Mick deserved a seat in a cockpit last year. But a change for Mick to AlphaTauri did not materialize, according to Ralf.
Ralf is sure: Helmut Marko must have a problem with the Schumachers name. For Mick, a future in Formula 1 would still have a solid future, Ralf believes. The 47-year-old is currently engaged as a reserve driver at Mercedes and McLaren. The German driver will retire at the end of the 2022 Formula 1 season.
