Next year's F1 season will begin in mid-March in Australia and not in Bahrain. Melbourne will host the inaugural round of the 76th edition of the Formula 1 World Championship from March 14 to 16.

Bahrain, the scene of the season launch for several years, was postponed to mid-April, a week before the race in Saudi Arabia, due to Ramadan. Three “triple-headers” (three consecutive race weekends) will be on the program with Japan, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia in April, then Imola, Monaco, Barcelona at the end of May-beginning of June, finally Las Vegas, Qatar, Abu Dhabi to conclude the season in December. The paddock will also have to carry out five “back-to-back’ (two Grand Prix weekends in a row) during the year. In 2026, the calendar will include at least one new feature with the arrival of Madrid, which willhost the Spanish Grand Prix on a street circuit.
