Laurent Sarrazin takes us on the trail of his son Cyprien's first ski exploits in the Hautes-Alpes. On weekends, he has private lessons with beginners in the snow garden, next to the snow front framed by bare larch trees.

His teaching technique? Make people accept the slope and the speed, avoid the snow plow on the gentle slope of the Lilliputian initiation track. Pretty much the same philosophy he applied to his son, about 27 years ago, when he first put him on slats.
