Nikola Karabatic has been out of action since February 2023. The 39-year-old is suffering from phlebitis (thrombosis) in his right leg.
The Paris-Saint-Germain star has been diagnosed with a genetic abnormality. He should be able to make his return to competition for the 2023-2024 season. He does not close the door to a participation in the Euro in Germany next January, but does not yet project himself on the Paris Olympics.
