The Minister of Sports, Amélie Oudéa-Castéra, welcomed this Wednesday "the firmness" of the reaction of the French Rugby Federation. Mohamed Haouas, to one year in prison in Montpellier for domestic violence, was "incompatible" with the values of the France Team.

The FFR has been in turmoil in recent months with the resignation in January of its president Bernard Laporte. An election is currently underway and the name of the new boss of French rugby will be known on June 14.
