World champion faces long break after shoulder operation. Jarl Magnus Riiber dislocated his shoulder while celebrating at the World Cup in Kuusamo, Finland - and still won two races.
The operation is planned for March 19th – directly after the last World Cup of the winter in his Norwegian home of Trondheim. Riiber has a long-term goal of the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo. In addition to the overall World Cup victories, the 26-year-old won eight gold medals at world championships.
