Jon Rahm is going through the longest period of his career without victories. The Basque has not won a title since April 9, 2017.

Rahm has won five tournaments of three rounds each in the Saudi League. The Spaniard has won 20 professional victories between the PGA Tour and the European circuit, and never before has he gone so long without winning. The run up to this Masters has consisted of five tournaments in the top 10 of the tournaments (third in Mayakoba, eighth in Las Vegas, fifth in Jeddah, 8th in Hong Kong and 4th in Miami) Rahm signed for LIV in the middle of the year, and is playing his third round at LIV. The Masters starts on April 13, and the winner will be crowned at the summit of the Masters in 2023, with a prize fund of $1.2 million. The winner will also be the first player to win back-to-back Masters titles since Jack Nicklaus in 1965-66.
