Rohan Dennis is being prosecuted for the death of his wife, cyclist Melissa Hoskins. The double world time trial champion appeared in court in Adelaide on Wednesday.
He made no statement to the court, which adjourned the case until Aug. 6 to allow the prosecution to prepare its brief and determine what charges to pursue him on. Dennis was twice world team champion in this exercise (2014 and 2015) and individual bronze medalist at the 2020 Olympic Games. also won a stage of the Tour de France in 2015, as well as a stage at the Giro.
