Mick Schumacher has been a test and reserve driver for Mercedes this season. The 24-year-old will take part in a day of testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya next Wednesday.
The Spanish Grand Prix will take place there a few days earlier. Schumi Junior is in a sense taking over the legacy of his father Michael, who once sat in the cockpit of the "Silver Arrows" for several years. The ex-Haas driver has not been allowed to drive a Formula 1 car since December.
