In Bavaria, the white sausage is traditionally eaten in the morning - when exactly doesn't seem to have been decided. The Weißwurst must not hear the “12 o’clock chime”, i.e. it must be eaten before 12 p.m., while in other places the church bell (10 a.m.) is considered an ultimatum.
