Danny Avdia recorded 24 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists in Washington Wizards' 129:127 loss to Chicago Bulls. The Israeli forward played as a center in the absence of the injured Jordan Paul and Tyus Jones.

It was the Israeli's 18th double-double of the season, the sixth in the last 10 games. The Wizards suffered their fifth straight loss when they succumbed to their star-less Bulls, but Avdie continued to take advantage of every moment until the end of theseason to show that he is capable of leading the team in the future. He scored in double figures in 53 of his 73 appearances this season and crossed the 20-point mark for the 16th time tonight. He has 41 basket moves and fouls this year, more than in all of his previous three seasons combined (6 in the first, 11 in the second and 21 in the third). The three-point shooting also opens up lanes for him to the ring. The fast attack of Washington helped Danny raise everything to another level. "An impressive performance," tweeted Greg Feinberg of the "Bullets Forever" website.
