Marc-Antoine Olivier becomes vice-world champion in the 10km open water race on Sunday in Doha. The other Tricolor in the running, Logan Fontaine, took fourth place.

Olivier's second world medal over this distance, after bronze in 2017. The race was won by the Hungarian Kristof Rasovszky, winner in 1 hour 48 min 21 sec. On Saturday, in the women's race, Océane Cassignol and Caroline Jouisse won their place for Paris-2024.
