Baptiste Moirot, known for his phrase “si si j’suis très net”, was officially designated as one of the bearers of the Olympic flame. The young man made himself known in 2017 in a video broadcast live on Facebook.

Under the influence of two sleeping pills, the young man began to burn Kevlar, under the eyes of his incredulous parents. This video pushed certain Internet users to launch a petition on Facebook, for Baptiste to light the Olympic Flame for the Paris 2024 Games. A humorous initiative to which 274,000 people responded. The announcement was variously appreciated on social networks between those who appreciate this wink and others, who believe that Baptiste MoiroT has done nothing to deserve his place among the 10,000 torch bearers designated by Paris 2024. The organizing committee for theParis 2024 Games has unveiled a new bearer of the Olympics flame, BaptisteMoirot. The ceremony will take place at the Parc des Princes in Paris.
