Jockey at Chantilly, Sophie Chuette, will carry the flame on July 18. The 31-year-old is one of three Cantilians carrying the flame for the first time.
She has won 73 races in total, including the quinté, the most popular race for punters. She follows in the footsteps of jockey Yutaka Take, who also carried the flame in Tokyo in 2012. Chuette: "I am really very honored and very happy, because it is something historic"
