Paris 2024 Olympics: purple track, 5G, giant screens, before the Games, the Stade de France is getting a makeover. Closed to major events since the Rugby World Cup final at the end of October, the Saint-Denis stadium will only reopen its doors to crowds for the Olympic Games.
The project began in 2020, taking advantage of the forced closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Six refreshment bars for the general public have been added, the command post renovated, and sports and architectural lighting modernized.
