Russian Sports Minister Oleg Matytsin says his country will not boycott Paris 2024. Russia's athletes will compete under a neutral banner, without a national anthem on the podiums.

The restrictions are in reaction to the offensive in Ukraine, which Russia has blamed on the West. The Russian athletes will be able to compete under the name "Olympic Athletes of Russia" for the first time in their history. The event will take place in Paris, France, in the summer of 2024, with a maximum of 2,500 athletes.
