Working Class Hero wins the Quinté + at Caen. Joost d'Oléron finishes second, Je Rêve du Bois third.

The outsider Junkie completes the good combination of Quinté and Quinte +. Working Clas Hero is trained by Jörgen Westholm and won seven races in Sweden last year. He was fifth on his debut at Vincennes at the beginning of January, then won easily on the Caen track. He is the first horse to win on the first day of the new season in France. The race was won by Working Class Hero in 2011, when he was a three-year-old, and was ridden by Mathieu Mottier for the first time in his career. The winner of the race is a horse behind in winnings, as confirmed by his pilot, already winner of Wednesday's Quinté+ at Lyon-La Soie. It was the first race of the year for the new year in France, and the first since the start of the summer.
