Bayern Munich won its 11th consecutive Bundesliga title with a 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund. The German champions have won the title in each of the last seven seasons.
The last time they didn't win the title was in 2011, when they were beaten 2-0 by Borussia Monchengladbach in the final game of the season. The previous year, Bayern won the Bundesliga with a 1-0 victory over Eredivisie rivals PSV Eindhoven. The result was the first time in the history of the Bundesliga that a team didn't lose the title after the first game.
