Paris Saint-Germain has just won an 11th title of champion of France after their draw in Strasbourg (1-1), a record. With its 11th trophy, PSG now sits alone at the top of the standings for the most league titles France acquired.
Until now, the capital club shared this status with AS Saint-Étienne, winner of the first division championship ten times between the 1956-1957 season and the 1980-1981 season. It is also the 9th title for Marco Verratti, who arrived at the club in the summer of 2012.
