Real Madrid filed a complaint with the Spanish prosecutor's office after racist insults suffered by its Brazilian striker Vinicius in Valencia. The Movement against Intolerance (MCI) and the Association of Spanish Footballers (AFE), the main players' union in Spain, also announced in a statement that they had file a complaint.
Real Madrid decided to file this complaint so that an "investigation is opened" on these insults which legally constitute, according to the club, a "crime of hatred"
