Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is reportedly on the verge of returning to FC Bayern. The 67-year-old is to move into the supervisory board and support the Munich team in planning the squad for the coming season.
Bayern parted ways with board members Oliver Kahn and Hasan Salihamidzic on Saturday. Kahn's successor will be the current CFO Jan-Christian Dreesen, a new sporting director is still being sought. The pair are accused of a misguided personnel policy in the composition of the team.
