French skier Marie Bochet, crowned Paralympic champion eight times, definitively ended her sporting career at the end of the Alpine Para Ski World Cup season on Monday. The Savoyard, who competed in her very first Games at the age of 16 in Vancouver (2010) and managed to win at least one gold medal in each of the Para events.

The last race of his career, a Super-G which was to take place Monday morning, was however canceled for safety reasons according to the International Ski Federation.
