Novak Djokovic dethrones Roger Federer and becomes the oldest world number in history at almost 37 years old. Aged 36 years and 321 days, the Serbian became this Monday the oldest player to have never occupied the top of the ATP rankings.

The Serbian, winner of 24 Grand Slam titles in his career, will participate this week in the Masters 1000 in Monte-Carlo. He will enter the draw from the second round, in which he will face the winner of the match between the Russian Roman Safiullin and the Spaniard Jaume Munar.
