Hugo Gaston was fined 144,1000 euros, reduced by half, for "unsportsmanlike conduct" during his second round match at the Masters <> in Madrid. The 22-year-old from Toulouse is accused of deliberately dropping a second ball on the court during an exchange he was going to lose.
Gaston appealed and the fine was reduced to 72,<> euros on the condition that Gaston would no longer commit such an offence over a probationary period of twelve months.
