Medvedev beat Jannik Sinner 6-2, 7-6 (9/7) in the quarter-finals of the Masters 1000 in Miami. The Russian will now face Sinner in the semi-final of the Miami Masters 1000.
Sinner beat Medvedev in five sets in Melbourne at the end of January. The Italian leads the head-to-head 6-4 against the world number 4 in the last four clash of Masters 1000s. The match between Carlos Alcaraz and Grigor Dimitrov will be played on Thursday.
