The Prosecutor's Office believes that the management of the former director of the anti-doping agency is susceptible to being a crime. José Luis Terreros, head of CELAD since 2017, was dismissed on January 26 after an official reported irregularities.

The most striking case is that of sprinter Patrick Chinedu, who continued competing as if nothing had happened. Only after the case was made public did the public find out that he had tested positive for nandrolone in 2019.
