Maccabi Tel Aviv will play Baskonia in a play-in game to be held this Tuesday in Belgrade. The loser of the match will meet the winner of the corresponding match between Virtus Bologna and Anadolu Efes on Friday.

The winner will finish in eighth place and play against Real Madrid in the playoffs. Maccabi has a clear advantage over Basconia as they have won the last four games between the teams, and six of the last seven away from home. The last time the two teams met in the deciding games was in the 2010/11 season, when Maccabib won 1:3 in the first round of the Euroleague playoffs. The match will be held at the Olimpic Stadium, which will also host the final Euroleague game of the 2023/24 season in 2023-24 season. The game will be played at 7.30pm local time (7.30am BST) and will be shown live on Eurosport.
