FC Bayern is planning a cooperation in the youth sector with the Suburban Club Unterhaching. Bayern gems who are not yet ready for the professionals but are too good for the youth or reserves would no longer have to be loaned abroad in the future.

The talent could be used depending on their performance level. Both clubs will remain completely independent in their actions, but in addition to loans, they will also exchange information about youth development infrastructure. There are currently no plans for FC Bayern to step in as an investor for the Haching stadium purchase, as has already been publicly reported. It is not specified how many talents “move” from Säbener Straße to the sports park each year. This should be analyzed together before the season and can be adjusted as the season progresses. The talents in question can of course also recommend themselves to other clubs at Haching and Bayern. If a transfer comes about, the suburbanites receive a share of the transfer fee. The vision of both clubs for Munich as a football location is quite impressive. The idea of a cooperation had been around for a long time; campus boss Jochen Sauer and sports director Christoph Freund had already established a globally recognized youth system at Red Bull Salzburg.
