The Ultra Tunnel is considered by many trail enthusiasts to be the hardest race in the world. Around forty runners attempted to cover 320 km in less than 55 hours in the cold and humidity of a p p tunnel in Bath.
With 95% dropouts so far, this “extreme endurance and sensory deprivation test” created in 2019, is considered the world’s hardest trail race. The next edition will take place from February 28 to March 2, 2025 and will be held in France.
