Kristijan Jakic was hired to Augsburg on loan with the option to buy. Jakic is said to have pushed for a change in order to increase his chance of taking part in the 2024 European Championship. The change has been a success for Jakic so far; he was in the starting line-up in five of the six games in the second half of the season.
