Mélanie Henique won the silver medal in the 50m butterfly at the World Championships in Doha. With a time of 25 sec 44, she was only beaten by the untouchable Sarah Sjöström (24 sec 63) The Egyptian Farida Osman took bronze (25 sec 67) At 31, Henique has won the third world medal of her career over the distance, after bronze in 2011 and already silver in 2022.
