He had been excluded from the Hérault group (along with Paul Willemse) He was sentenced to 18 months in prison in 2014 for burglaries in a tobacco shop. He was seeking a place for the 2023 World Cup with the Blues. His custody will obviously deprive him of this last appointment of the season and could well make him miss the World Cup this autumn.
