"Eden, we were there too": Tipax were also almost disqualified for a "political" Eurovision song - voila! culture. The storm of concern over the disqualification of the Israeli song for Eurovision 2024 due to the claim that it contains political lyrics reminded of a similar case that happened to the Tipax band back in 2007.

In those days, the European Broadcasting Union received many complaints about Tipax's song, which refers to the nuclear threat to Israel. They interpreted the song as a protest song about Iran's atomic program, and the statements of its president at the time, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
